Here no Evil was provided for my children by Mary, I couldn’t help reading it too.
I don’t normally get into tween fiction, but Mary writes well enough that it is more about the characters than their age. I was immediately taken in by the emotional turmoil. How would you deal with being told you weren’t wanted anymore? Now, how would you deal with that after being thrown into a situation where you know no one? Brady has to deal with just such a situation.
The storyline kept me turning pages. The children are believable and the storyline tight. My daughter recommended that I read it…after she finished reading it a few times.
